GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS

Description of the journal

Interantional Journal Vallis Aurea  enables authors to present their researches relating to advancing and improving the practice, as well as understanding information systems of the organization. The Journal accepts theoretical, methodological and empirical contributions, i.e. the works that significantly contribute the thematic fields of the Journal, i.e. management, finance, marketing, law, IT technology, agriculture, and other interdisciplinary topics. It will provide enough space for original empirical and developmental researches.

  • The works can be presented as:Theoretical, clear and empirical researches on the conception, structure, development and usefulness of interdisciplinary  science being important for the progress of theory and practice.
  • Paradigmatic, methodological aspects of design, development and implementation of science and practice.
  • Analysis and evolution of science and practice to the social, economic, organizational and management aspects of the environment and organization.

Copyright

After papar is accepted autors automatically transfers their copyright to the journal. The journal reserves copyright of all papers published in it.  Transfer of autor right means:

  • the article has not been published before in the form submittes to the International Journal Vallis Aurea
  • it is not under consideration for publication in any other journal, nor will not be submitted for publication elsewher before being accepted/rejected by the journal
  • Copyright to the above cited manuscript is transferred in full from the author(s) to the publisher of this journal, after it has been accepted for publication.
  • The author(s) shall request the permission of the Executive editor of the journal if they wish to publish the article in another journal or elsewhere.
  • Autor charge for correspodence transfers   the exclusive copyright  interests  (also on behalf of all co-authors, if any) to the publisher of this journal and certify that the submitted manuscript is their original work and that all co-authors, if any, own the copyright, and take responsibility for publishing this material in his/her own name, as well as on behalf of all co-authors, if any.
    The copyright transfer covers the exclusive right to publish, reproduce, and disseminate the paper.

Ethical policy

The ethics statements for International Journal Vallis Aurea are based on the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.
Submission of a manuscript implies that its publication has been approved by all co-authors, if any, as well as by the responsible authorities – tacitly or explicitly – at the institution where the work has been carried out. The publisher will not be held legally responsible should there be any claims for compensation.

Open Access/ Statement
International Journal Vallis Aurea  is a completely open access journal, all content is freely available on the website of the journal. The journal does not charge any fees to the authors when receiving or publishing articles.

International Journal Vallis Aurea allows users to take work and to share it with others on condition that cite the author, but work may not modify or use it for commercial purposes. Complete legal background of license is available at: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/legalcode.
Authors of papers for publishing in the journal agree under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License.
Types of papers
The journal publishes reviewed papers (scholarly articles), research reports, scholarly debates and reviews. Within the peer review process, papers published in the journal are categorized in one of the following categories: original scientific papers, preliminary communications, review papers and professional papers. Papers must be in English.
Review process
After the paper has been accepted the paper will undergo a double blind review process, i.e. it is sent to at least two independent anonymous reviewers. Based  upon  the
reviewer’s  recommendations, the Editorial Board decides whether the paper will be accepted as is, revised or rejected.
Submission
Submissions should not be published earlier or be under consideration for publication elsewhere. The papers should be submitted electronically to the e-mail address: vallisaurea@vup.hr
Detailed requirements of submitted article structure, formatting and references
Article structure
There are no strict requirements but all manuscripts must contain the essential elements of the manuscripts, for example: Title; Abstract; Keywords; Main part of the paper: Introduction, Review of previous research (Theoretical framework), Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, References. Such article structure is recommended for scholarly articles in the category of original scientific papers, preliminary communications and review papers.
Title: It must be concise and informative, and match the content of the paper.
Abstract: It should be clearly separated from the title and the main part of the paper. It should define the background, objectives, method(s) and present the main results and conclusions of the paper in a clear and concise manner. The abstract should be 200 to 300 words in length.
Keywords: A maximum of three to five  keywords is provided.
Introduction: The introduction should state the objectives of the paper, describe the nature of the problem and current state of knowledge. It should give the scope and general methods of research, and present a hypothesis and/or research goals. The introduction may be followed by the chapter Review of previous research (Theoretical framework): In this part, the authors can elaborate on previous research or demonstrate how the theory developed.
Methodology: The paper built on an appropriate base of theory, concepts, or other ideas needs to have clear methodology and be relevant to the topic. The research or equivalent intellectual work on which the paper is based should be well designed and clearly presented. Method(s) already published should be indicated by a reference.
Results: The results should be analysed appropriately and presented clearly and concisely.
Discussion: The discussion should explore the significance of the results of the study.
Conclusion: The conclusion should be based on research questions and/or should indicate the results and the scientific contribution made by the paper. Guidelines for further research should be proposed. Also, limitations of the study should be noted.
References
At the end of the paper, a reference list should be numbered and alphabetized by the appearing in text. Also, it should be ensured that data provided in the references are correct.

Title: The title should be written in uppercase bold letters. It must be concise and informative, and match the content of the paper.
Authors’ names and affiliations: Author’s name and surname, institution or company where he/she is employed (affiliation), address, contact details: e-mail address
